Protein Pasta with Garlic, Tomatoes & Clams
Is there a way to make clam linguini even better? We think so. We’ve added succulent clams, cream, tomatoes, garlic, and shallots to make a clam linguini inspired recipe for our Protein Pasta.
- To prepare sauce, heat olive oil in saucepan. Add bacon and slowly allow the bacon to brown.
- Add garlic and shallots. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add flour and stir.
- Add clam juice and Chardonnay and continue whisking. Bring sauce to a simmer for 2 – 3 minutes.
- Add cream and bring to a light boil while whisking.
- Add mushrooms, salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Lower heat. Add butter and whisk until fully melted.
- Add clams and cook for 3 – 5 minutes until clams open.
- Add Protein Pasta and tomatoes and toss until all is hot.
To serve: Place Protein Pasta and clams in a warm bowl and ladle clam sauce on top.

- Olive Oil ½ TBSP
- Bacon, raw, chopped ¼ cup
- Garlic, chopped 2 tsp
- Shallots, minced 2 tsp
- Flour ½ TBSP
- Clam Juice 1 cup
- Chardonnay ¼ cup
- Heavy Cream 1 Cup
- Mushrooms, sliced ½ cup
- Salt ½ tsp
- Black pepper ½ tsp
- Parsley, chopped 1 tsp
- Basil, chiffonade 2 tsp
- Butter 2 TBSP
- Clams in shell 12 each
- 1 bag Pescanova Protein Pasta
- Cherry Tomatoes, halved ¼ cup
